Shirdi Sai Baba, the fakir who possesses the magic wand to cure his devotees of all miseries seems to have garnered record contributions.

The Lord of the billions across the worlds has excelled in collections in 2011, when compared to earlier years. The Lords abode at Shirdi has made record collections in the form of contributions from devotees from India and abroad. As per the estimates given the temple is overflowing with 36 kilos of gold and Rs.401Cr of cash, of which the contributions in Dollars amounts to Rs. 6.28 Cr. The God of the billions is trusted by his devotees, to answer the needy instantly.

The Eleven sayings of Baba translated in English by the Shirdi:

1.      No harm shall befall him, who steps on the soil of Shirdi.
2.      He who comes to my Samadhi, his sorrow and suffering shall cease.
3.     Though I be no more in flesh and blood, I shall ever protect my devotees
4.      Trust in me and your prayer shall be answered.
5.      Know that my spirit is immortal, know this for yourself.
6.      Show unto me he who has sought refuge and has been turned away.
7.      In whatever faith men worship me, even so do I render to them.
8.      Not in vain is my promise that I shall ever lighten your burden.
